A big day. . .

Hospital rounds with the staff and clinic with Dziwe. The learning curve continues…

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world…Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has"- Margaret Mead

Village Health Works…this can be seen/used as a noun and a verb!!!!
Mead’s words are exemplified here in Kigutu.

What amazing photos of you and your new home! Your smile in the scrubs says it all. You are in the right place at the right time with the right people! The waiting woman photo is strikingly beautiful.

Congrats!

Helen,

It's great to see the photos and read your comments. It is so encouraging to read good news -- why don't the papers in the U.S. report more good things happening in the world? We at CONA look forward to hearing about this adventure you're on!

Helen! Your blog is great! I've got so many questions, and am so excited to go. See you on Saturday.
